Connor Browne is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined the firm in 2001 as an associate portfolio manager and was promoted to portfolio manager in 2006.
Connor began his career interning with acclaimed stock picker Bill Fries at Thornburg during college before becoming a part of the Thornburg team. In 2006, Connor was named a portfolio manager of the Thornburg Value Fund and Domestic Equity Strategy and in early 2008 he helped launch Thornburg’s Long/Short Equity Fund and Strategy. Connor embodies Thornburg’s corporate values, and is particularly community minded. He and his wife Christina support many organizations in Santa Fe, New Mexico, namely Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region, Communities in Schools of New Mexico, and Reading Quest. Connor graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a BA in economics and a certificate in finance. Connor is a CFA charterholder.
